Postdoc. Fellow in Immunology Eligibility: Thai /non-Thai with Ph.D. and training in immunology

Project background MVRU has ongoing studies on malaria involving basic research, clinical trials and population in malaria-endemic areas, and vaccine development. We are looking for an independent and self-motivated young researcher who is interested in immunology studies to understand how people respond to malaria infection in different settings.

Period of fellowship: 3 years Salary: negotiable (> 45,000 THB/month) Other benefits: health insurance, VISA fee (for non-Thai) Availability: now until filled

Why work at MVRU?

MVRU is part of the Malaria Excellence Center at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. Our primary research focus is on Plasmodium vivax, the most common human malaria parasites outside Africa. Current research areas include malaria epidemiology and transmission, parasite biology, drug and vaccine development. The established field sites, strong collaborative network with international partners, and a large archive of well-documented field samples provide excellent research opportunities in malaria and other tropical diseases.
